This server provides access to an extensive collection of files related to the Waffle Software Version 1.65. Waffle is a mail, news and BBS (Bulletin Board System) package. Halcyon currently uses Waffle Version 1.65 Beta9 and also provides support for the user to set up their own Waffle. A DOS version and a UNIX version of Waffle are currently available on a 'try before you buy' shareware basis. Waffle provides a USENET compatible BBS system which supports UUCP mail, UUCP and USENET news. In addition, there is a built-in editor, file upload/download and the ability to hook in external programs and gateway to (or from) other packages.
